For 18 mo. - 3 yrs. This is an interactive story time where the toddlers are encouraged to participate in stories and play while learning to listen and share. No registration is required.
For 3-5 year olds. Stories, poems, finger plays/songs and craft at each story time.
Interested in starting a garden but don’t know how? Stop by Seed Starting 101, Sterling Public Library, March 7th, 9-11 am. Presented by Whiteside County Master Gardeners.
Whiteside County Master Gardeners will be on hand to offer expert advice and knowledge on backyard gardening and demonstrate how to start seeds. Check out the assortment of free seeds to get started from the Seed Library. The Seed Library will be available throughout the growing season.
March 3, 2018 is World Wildlife Day the and focus for this year is on “Big Cats.” Join Peggy Dotty on March 7 at the Sterling Library, 6 – 7PM, for "Large Predators Return….Or Are They?" There is a $5 fee for the program, please register at: go.illinois.edu/largepredators.

Brain Exercise Classes at the Sterling Public Library
Join University of Illinois Educator Karla Belzer each month as she leads participants through interactive activities designed to exercise the brain to maintain and enhance cognitive function and memory. You are never too young or too old to get started training your brain, so join Karla in this fun and informative class!
This class is free and open to the public. You are welcome to join any time.
